Sleepy Scriptures is created with care, prayer, and many quiet hours behind the scenes.
I produce this podcast as a one-person operation in retirement, with very modest resources. Every scripture reading is recorded in my own voice, and every episode involves careful audio editing, mixing, music selection, background design, video production, website work, graphics, image editing, and publishing.
My hope is simple: to make Scripture available in a peaceful, restful format for people who want to fall asleep, relax, pray, or simply spend quiet time with God’s Word.
Although Sleepy Scriptures is freely available to listeners, it is not free to produce. I personally cover the costs of properly licensed music, software, website hosting, podcast hosting, video production tools, and all the other expenses required to keep the project going. I also devote what is essentially full-time work to the podcast, without remuneration.
If Sleepy Scriptures has helped you rest, pray, feel comforted, or reconnect with Scripture, please consider making a donation to support the work.
Your gift helps cover the practical costs of production and makes it possible for me to continue creating new episodes with the same care and peaceful spirit that listeners have come to value.
There is no pressure, and no gift is too small. I am deeply grateful for every listener, every encouraging message, and every contribution that helps sustain this work.
Thank you for helping keep Sleepy Scriptures available for those who need rest, comfort, and the quiet presence of God’s Word.
Whether or not you are able to give, thank you for listening, sharing, and being part of the Sleepy Scriptures community.
Steve.
